WELCOME TO THE LIBRARY

WHS Media Center Mission

Our mission is to motivate and encourage students to read, to develop a lifelong love of reading, and to become effective users of information and technology by providing a library media program which will enable individuals to become information literate and effective lifelong readers. Media Center programs are created for the purpose of instruction, independent study, use of technology and guided selection of literature. The goals of the library media program are to enable students to access information through learning activities that are integrated into the curriculum and assist students in becoming information literate.
