Bio

Welcome to 11th and 12th Grade Mathematics! I am very excited about the opportunity to get to know you and I am looking forward to a happy and productive school year. My name is Mrs. Johnson and Woodland is where my husband Ben and I call home. I graduated from Woodland High School in 2007. After graduation, I attended Southern Union State Community College on an Athletic Scholarship. In 2009, I earned an Associate in Science at Southern Union and then transferred to Auburn University to pursue a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. In May of 2015, I graduated from the University of West Alabama with a Masters in School Counseling. In my class the students will be expected to come to class prepared with their supplies and be prepared to follow classroom policies. I am sure if we work together, you can reach your greatest potential in this class! If you get behind or may need further one on one explanation, I will be available in the mornings before school starting at 6:30 on request. Please take advantage of this extra help if you need it and always feel free to ask questions in class. To schedule a parent/teacher conference, please call the school during my planning period (2:00 - 3:00).
